A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site.
Cookies can also be used to establish anonymised statistics about the browsing experience on our sites.
Currently, there are four types of cookies that may be generated as you browse our site: Strictly Necessary, Statistics, Preference and Marketing cookies.
These cookies are essential for you to browse the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the site. Cookies that allow web shops to hold your items in your cart while you are shopping online are an example of strictly necessary cookies. These cookies will generally be first-party session cookies. While it is not required to obtain consent for these cookies, what they do and why they are necessary are explained in the table below.
You can use your browser settings to control whether or not we set session cookies. More information on your browser settings is provided at the bottom of this page.
Please be aware that these cookies are critical to the efficient working of the site. If you choose to disable these cookies from this site, the functionality of the site may be greatly reduced.
Also known as "performance cookies," these cookies collect information about how you use a website, like which pages you visited and which links you clicked on. None of this information can be used to identify you. It is all aggregated and, therefore, anonymized. Their sole purpose is to improve website functions. This includes cookies from third-party analytics services as long as the cookies are for the exclusive use of the owner of the website visited.
Statistical information is used in reports and to improve our site. For example, we have used analytics data to add, remove or change features of the site based on how popular they are with users.
We track, for example:
Google provides a tool to opt-out of Google Analytics. This is available for all modern browsers in the form of a browser plugin. Additionally, you can control how cookies are set using your browser settings.
The advertisements you see displayed on this, and other, sites are generated by third parties. These services may use their own anonymous cookies to track how many times a particular ad has been displayed to you and may track your visits to other sites where their ads are displayed. Please note that advertisers can only track visits to sites which display their ads or other content. This tracking is anonymous, meaning that they do not identify who is viewing which ads.
Tracking in this manner allows advertisers to show you ads that are more likely to be interesting to you, and also limit the number of times you see the same ad across a wide number of sites. As an example of how advertisers operate, if you recently researched holidays, adverts for holiday operators may subsequently appear on our sites.
We do not have access to, or control over, these third party cookies; nor can we view the data held by these advertisers. Online advertisers provide ways for you to opt-out of your browsing being tracked. More information about the advertisers we use, and how to opt-out, is provided below.

Konvi, the digital crowd-investing platform helping retail investors gain access to high-yielding luxury assets, has announced the launch of private shares offering to to enable it's community to become a co-owner.
Building on £>1M in funding raised through top investors such as Bessemer, Atomico, and APX, the goal of this funding round is to capitalize on the increasing demand for fractional investing by launching investment opportunities for hypercars, opening up a secondary market, and expanding operations to the United Kingdom.
“In the past years, we have seen a remarkable increase in interest in investing across all societal classes,” said Ioana Surdu-Bob the CEO and Co-founder of Konvi. “With rising inflation and uncertainty in today's economy retail investors are beginning to see the potential of using luxury assets as an effective investment and diversification tool. We are doubling down on this movement and aim to enable our community access to these investments”.
Independent research has shown that Institutions have been turning to alternative assets to increase their return potential by 286%. Small investors are however left behind with little to no access to exotic assets such as watches or wine - until now.
“Our mission at Konvi is to raise awareness of the large potential that alternative assets can offer and empower more people to invest like the top 1%. Through this funding round, we will be able to spread our message across more regions and increase our product portfolio by offering new asset categories and enabling In-app trading of shares. In the past year, we have grown our user base to over 26,000 users from over 30 countries who have invested in assets worth over €1.2M - and we are sure that we can reach many more!” said Ioana.
Unlike other crowd investment companies that merely focus on internal evaluations of different assets, Konvi is proactively partnering up with renowned investment funds across the world with wide-ranging experience in their asset class to offer the best possible investment opportunities. WatchFund here is an example, with €42M in assets under management and a 20% yearly average historical appreciation the company has curated a number of projects for the Konvi community.
Since its launch, Konvi has built what is believed to be the safest solution in the fractionalization industry. Regulated by the Irish Central Bank, and legally separated from the investments, the crowdfunding platform never touches the customer's assets. Each funding project is completely separated into holding companies that are fully owned by the customers and that Konvi does not control. (After the funding of a project is completed, the asset manager purchases, stores and insures the asset for a fixed appreciation period.
Claire Valoti, current EMEA VP of Snapchat, Inc. as well as Konvi advisor and investor added: “It was a very easy decision to invest in Konvi. They are stellar founders, who have built a very user-centric platform democratizing investments into high-value alternative assets in a regulatory approved manner.”
The 2 trillion euro European alternative assets industry is ready to be disrupted, and Konvi is perfectly positioned to capture this opportunity. And, for the first time, we’re excited to welcome you, our users and supporters, on board for the journey.
We believe in the power of community and want to give you the chance to be a part of our journey. Click here to learn more about Konvi's private shares offering.
